Specialty dogs and more: Blue Jays announce new and returning food, beverage offerings for 2024

Get ready to chow down on Hot Maple & Bacon Dogs, Jamaican patties and Poke Bowls!

A day after getting no-hit in Houston, the Toronto Blue Jays unveiled a number of food and beverage options they hope will be big hits with their fans.

There will be plenty of new and returning items at the newly renovated Rogers Centre, starting at the team’s home opener on April 8.

The team said its new Hot Maple & Bacon Hot Dog will join the popular Signature Poutine Hot Dog at Schneiders Porch. Specialty dogs, along with all ballpark hot dogs, are made from 100% Canadian beef. The Outfield District will be where “inventive” offerings will be available.

The Blue Jays have a new hospitality partner this season, Legends. The team says Stuffed Jamaican Patties can be had at The Stop, filled with jerk chicken, coleslaw and BBQ sauce. The Stop also will offer a new quick-grab Poke Bowl made with fresh sushi-grade fish from a local vendor.

Fans can devour Crush Floats — Crush soda and ice cream — and there’s a new partnership with Keurig Dr. Pepper which will create some different ideas.

The Catch Bar features a new house-made, creamy Loaded Mac & Cheese, topped with jerk chicken or brisket.

A new Bowls & Wraps concession at section 140 will sell the Mediterranean Hot Dog, featuring beef shawarma and tzatziki.

There will also be Snow Fries — classic ballpark fries tossed in a custom parmesan mix.

The Jays say there will be plenty of non-alcoholic drinks available (like the Low & Away Mocktail, which is strawberry and dragon fruit lemonade), as well as original cocktails, a curated beer menu and ready-to-drink selections (Spritz and Mojito).

The team has a collaboration with Mill Street Brewery called Blue Wave, which has a new look this season.

The Blue Jays and McCain Foods Canada will have Make It A Fry Day events for 13 Friday home games. They will feature a specialty-loaded fry recipe served in a reusable Blue Jays helmet.
