Kansas Jayhawks (+160) vs. Baylor Bears (-194)
The Jayhawks are in Waco this weekend for a matchup against the Bears.
Both teams are 9-6 in conference play, jockeying for third place behind Houston and Iowa State. The winner here will be in prime position to challenge either squad for the conference championship.
Neither team has been especially impressive this year on the road but Kansas has particularly struggled. The Jayhawks were upended by Kansas State in early February and lost to Texas Tech on the road a week later.
They did beat Baylor, at home, by three points in between those two losses.
In both losses, Kansas looked flat on defense, shot the ball poorly — especially from deep — and was out-rebounded. That bodes very poorly against a Baylor team that has been solid on the glass and tenacious on defense at home.
Overall, the Bears are 4.5-point favorites with a total of 156.
Take the Bears to cover the spread here and get some retribution for a tough loss a couple of weeks ago.
