The Kelce family is “still learning” how to stay safe amid heightened attention and fame that comes with being in “the Taylor Swift world.”
During a recent appearance on “The Big Podcast with Shaq,” Eagles center Jason Kelce explained that his younger brother, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce — who’s been dating Swift since last summer — had to move into a gated community in Kansas City due to safety concerns over people lurking outside of his home.
“It’s crazy what it opens up opportunity wise,” Jason said while discussing how he and his family’s lives have changed since Swift came into the picture. “It’s crazy to feel how much joy you bring people or how much you affect people’s daily lives.
“It’s also incredibly, it has drawbacks, for sure … And Travis knows, right, more than I do. He had to completely move out of his house.”
That’s when co-host Adam Lefkoe asked, “What? People were like coming by?” to which Kelce replied: “People were just staying by his house. Safety reasons.”
In October, Travis closed on $6 million mansion in Kansas City in order to have more privacy, Page Six confirmed at the time.
The couple went public with their relationship that same month, when they were seen holding hands while out together in New York City.

Jason — who also addressed retirement speculation after 13 seasons with Philadelphia — recalled Travis having a trespassing incident at his new home.
“And the first day he moved into the new house … in a gated community somebody knocks on the back window of the house,” the future Hall of Fame center said.
“We’re still learning. I mean, so listen, we’ve always been big in the football world, Travis especially. The Taylor world and the pop culture world, that’s a whole different level. You’re in a different, it’s just an added level of — it’s a new demographic that wasn’t there before.”

All eyes have been on the Kelce family since the couple went public with their relationship — which started with Travis attempting to give the singer a friendship bracelet with his number on it when he attended her concert last July.
Travis was pressed with questions about his famous girlfriend all week leading up to Super Bowl 2024, a 25-22 Chiefs win over the 49ers in overtime at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, and had fun with the moment, while being respectful and private about their relationship.
After Travis secured his third Super Bowl ring, the All-Pro tight end and Swift, who even brought her parents to XS Nightclub at the Wynn, partied the night away with Jason in Las Vegas.
Travis is reportedly expected to join Swift on the European leg of her “Eras Tour” this summer.
