TikTok star Anna Frey gets Super Bowl invite after Brock Purdy comparisons

After the San Francisco 49ers defeated the Detroit Lions in the NFC Championship, Anna Frey, a 16-year-old tennis player from Utah who followers say looks like 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy, posted a video with the message: “patiently waiting for my Super Bowl invite.”

Her request was granted.

Frey was invited to attend Super Bowl 2024 in Las Vegas as part of a Name, Image and Likeness deal with Six Star Pro Nutrition, a workout supplement company.

Frey has 1.3 million followers on TikTok and will only benefit from her NIL deal with Six Star and her Super Bowl visit.

“Stay tuned because I’ll be posting so much about the festivities and activities that I am going to. If you see me on the strip, please come say hi,” Frey said on TikTok, adding that she was “super excited.”

Her resemblance to Purdy has even been noticed by his brother Chubba, himself a quarterback at the University of Nevada.

After the NFC Championship, Chubba was head on video saying, “Anna Frey’s going to the Super Bowl!” as Brock posed for the video.

It’s not the only lookalike who has popped for Purdy this week with social media buzzing over a comparison to Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated President John F. Kennedy.

Purdy deflected questions posed about Oswald earlier in the week by a reporter.

Frey will have to compete for screen time with Taylor Swift, who will be in attendance to support her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

Six Star posted a video with Frey announcing the deal and the trip to the Super Bowl as well.

“Sports nutrition has been an active conversation with my parents and coaches as I continue my athletic career, which made this deal stand out — besides going to THE BIG GAME, of course,” Frey said in a release announcing the deal. “The history of Six Star Pro Nutrition advocating for athletes and their NIL rights also created a level of comfort, as they believe that someone in my situation should be able to financially benefit from opportunities that may come my way.”

Super Bowl 58 will kick off from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas at 6:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
