A 73-year-old Rocky View County resident was charged with attempted murder after an altercation Wednesday.
The victim was seriously injured and transported to a Calgary hospital, while the suspect remained in the residence, RCMP says.
Rhonda Campbell surrendered to police without incident and was later charged with attempted murder.
Campbell appeared in Calgary court on Friday, where her matter was adjourned until Monday.
