Since its formation twenty years ago, the group has released acclaimed albums, developed a devoted social media following and been almost invisible on traditional radio. That hasn’t stopped the Boston band from moving from the dirty bars on Lake Street where it took its name from to having dates at Denver’s legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre on this latest tour, which is already sold out. The combo will play its first Madison Square Garden show this September.
Lake Street Dive released Fun Machine: the Sequel, a 6-track collection of covers by artists ranging from Bonnie Raitt and the Pointer Sisters to Carole King in Sept. 2022. The band is working on its next full length follow up.
