Adult film star Jesse Jane has died at the age of 43, it has been claimed.
The star, who rose to fame in the 2000s, was reportedly found dead at her home, beside her boyfriend, Brett Hasenmueller.
According to TMZ, police officers responded to a welfare check at their property in Moore, Oklahoma, where their bodies were found.
Law enforcement officers are thought to have approached the property after Hasenmueller’s boss voiced concerns.
His employer reportedly sounded the alarm as they hadn’t heard from him in some time.
It is currently unclear exactly when the couple died, and their cause of death is still to be determined.
The outlet reports that an investigation is underway, with a medical examiner due to confirm what happened.
Jane first made a name for herself in the porn industry more than 20 years ago, and landed her first major contract in 2002, with Digital Playground.
The star, real name Cindy Taylor, then starred in Showtime’s Family Business and went on to pick up roles in Let The Game Begin, Middle Men and the Pirates series.
She also popped up in a string of mainstream shows and films, including Starsky & Hutch a memorable episode of Entourage, where she starred opposite Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Kevin Dillon and Jerry Ferrara.
The late star soon began working for Playboy, and presented their Night Calls live show, and the Naughty Amateur Home Videos series.
Later in her career, Jane appeared in numerous documentaries about the industry, including CNBC’s Porn: Business of Pleasure.
She briefly retired from the screen in 2017, before making an eventual return – away from the spotlight, she went on to release a hugely successful line of sex toys.
Jane is survived by her son.
