Q: For those who aren’t familiar, what is Basma Beauty

A: Basma Beauty is an inclusive makeup brand that formulates products to align with individual skin types, concerns and preferences that determine when, why and how you prefer your makeup to work.

When I was only two years old, I suffered third-degree burns on half of my face. As you could imagine, growing up was very challenging. I couldn’t walk into a room without people staring at my face. This resulted in me turning to makeup at an early age.

Makeup became my source of confidence and self-expression. However, I faced frustration and disappointment when mainstream beauty brands didn’t cater to my needs, turning me to “clinical” products that lacked the inclusivity I desired. I was determined to create a makeup brand that welcomed everyone and celebrated diversity,

My passion for makeup combined with my experience as a burn survivor inspired me to pioneer the Scar Camouflage procedure, offering a solution that transformed my own life and thousands of others facing similar challenges. Basma Beauty not only provides high-quality makeup products formulated for diverse skin tones and textures but also fosters a community of empowerment and self-acceptance. By sharing my story and expertise, I aim to inspire others to embrace their uniqueness and feel confident in their own skin.

Q: What makes it unique?

A: What sets Basma Beauty apart is my dedication to understanding individual skin needs and preferences. I recognize that everyone’s skin journey is unique, and I aim to address diverse concerns with my products. One of our flagship offerings, The Foundation Stick, exemplifies our commitment to inclusivity. Available in a wide range of 42 shades, it caters to various skin tones, ensuring that everyone can find their perfect match. Each shade is carefully formulated to provide seamless coverage while nourishing the skin with hydrating and skin-loving ingredients.

Basma Beauty’s formulations go beyond just matching skin tone. I consider factors like skin type, lifestyle and personal preferences to create makeup that works specifically for you. Whether you’re dealing with scars, uneven texture or sensitive skin, my products are designed to enhance your natural beauty while addressing your individual needs. In essence, Basma Beauty’s unique combination of extensive shade range, personalised approach and skin-care benefits sets us apart in the beauty industry, empowering individuals to feel confident and beautiful in their own skin.
