Travis Kelce had plenty of support at his game against the Los Angeles Chargers despite girlfriend Taylor Swift’s skipping the match-up.
Niecy Nash, who appears on “Grotesquerie” alongside the tight end, rocked up to SoFi Stadium on Sunday to cheer on the Kansas City Chiefs alongside Kelce’s friends and family.
Before the game, Nash went down to the field to she catch a glimpse of the NFL star, 34, warming up.
The Emmy winner, 54, posted a video where she cheered for Kelce as he hyped up his teammates and got some reps in.
“Alright guys, we are down on the field,” Nash said in a clip alongside wife Jessica Betts. “We came out to support Travis Kelce today! We outside!”
Once the game began, Nash seemingly joined Travis’ crew in a private suite, where she caught up with his mom, Donna Kelce.
When Nash, who wore a denim dress, asked Donna about her thoughts on her son’s acting debut, the mother of two said she was “really impressed” by his abilities.
“It was almost surreal,” Donna said.
However, she admitted that Nash carried the show, praising the “pro” for her “great” performance.
“Sunday Funday with the fam and Mama Kelce supporting my @grotesqueriefx co-star @killatrav ‼️🏈🎉” Nash captioned the video, adding, “#WinnerBaby.”
Nash has had nothing but amazing things to say about Travis since they started working together on the Ryan Murphy series earlier this year.
Insiders told us in May that the pair really bonded and “would not stop laughing the entire time they were filming.”
“They have a similar sense of humor and bonded over their joy for life,” we were told.
Although Swift wasn’t there to support her beau, he got lots of love from Nash and his teammates, who wore custom T-shirts with his face on them during warmups.
Before the game, the team’s wide receivers Rashee Rice, JuJu Smith-Schuster and Mecole Hardman all walked on the field wearing black tees with Travis’ first and last name written in Chiefs colors and different images of the athlete playing football.
Rice reportedly purchased the shirts “to honor their leader and a guy who has mentored all of them” despite public scrutiny about his slow start to the 2024 to 2025 NFL season.
The shirts proved to be a good luck charm as the three-time Super Bowl champion had his best game of the season, tallying up seven receptions for 89 yards — more than he had in the first three games combined.
Although Travis has yet to score a touchdown this year, his impressive performance pushed him over the edge to become the Chiefs’ all-time leader in receptions.
The Missouri-based team is now 4-0.
