Two women critically injured in electric scooter collision in Senneville

A 19-year-old and 20-year-old were travelling east on the scooter when they collided with a vehicle travelling in the opposite direction, Montreal police said.

Two young women were taken to hospital in critical condition Tuesday afternoon following a collision between an electric scooter and a vehicle in Senneville.

According to preliminary information, a 19-year-old and 20-year-old were travelling east on the scooter on Senneville Rd. when they collided with a vehicle travelling in the opposite direction.

Montreal police received a 911 call reporting the accident just before 5 p.m.

The driver of the vehicle, a man in his 30s, was uninjured and remained on scene to provide assistance, SPVM spokesperson Sabrina Gauthier said.

A perimeter was set up on Senneville Rd. and investigators from the SPVM’s collision investigations section visited the scene to establish the circumstances surrounding the accident.
