Stephen Baldwin posted a puzzling video of himself after his daughter Hailey Bieber revealed that she’s “not super close” with her family anymore.
The “Usual Suspects” actor shared a selfie video of him driving a car and staring into the camera before giving a slight smirk and simply saying, “I love you.”
Baldwin then looked away from the camera and into the distance before returning his gaze to the camera and smirking a second time.
“Today, staying positive is a choice !! so I’m trusting in the power of joy, peace, and happiness. Finally if anyone hasn’t told you today, 😘 I LOVE YOU ❤️🔥,” he captioned the video on Wednesday.
The post received mixed comments from his followers –– with some of them reciprocating the love and others pointing out his daughter’s recent messaging.
“Sadly your daughter don’t love you 😂😂 your [sic] embarrassing her 😂😂😂 @stephenbaldwin7 😂,” one person wrote.
“Your daughter is ashamed of you 😂😂😂,” another user commented.
“Awww 🥰 Stephen that felt very genuine and sincere… so gonna send some right back to you and I throw some positivity sprinkles on top 🤗🤭🥳✨💫,” one fan shared.

The “Threesome” star, 58, shared the video after his daughter, 27, made headlines for her candid confession about her family –– which also includes mom Kennya Deodato Baldwin, sister Alaia Baldwin and uncle Alec Baldwin.
“I’m not super close with my family at this point in my life because I feel like I’m very independent. I’m my own individual now, and I’ve built my own family,” she told W magazine in a cover story published Tuesday.
The Rhode founder clarified that she reflects on her “fairly normal childhood” with “very fond, beautiful memories.”
“Obviously, I come from the family that I come from, and I always recognized that that was different,” she said.
Hailey has been married to Justin Bieber since 2018 and is over six months pregnant with their first child.
Stephen nor any of her other family members have directly addressed the comment.
Earlier this year, rumors of a rift between Hailey and Stephen began spreading after her dad posted a cryptic video asking his followers to “offer a little prayer” for his daughter and son-in-law.
Sources told TMZ that the model and the popstar were “pissed” at Stephen for alluding to a “private” family matter on social media.
Just a few days later, Page Six reported that Alaia had been arrested on charges of simple assault, simple battery, battery and criminal trespassing after she allegedly hurled her used tampon at a bartender in February.
