Eamonn Holmes has revealed he’s still wearing his wedding ring, almost two months after announcing his split from Ruth Langsford.

The Loose Women star, 64, and GB News presenter Eamonn, also 64, confirmed they are in the process of divorcing in May.

It was said work commitments had resulted in the former couple drifting in ‘different directions’, but they were still ‘speaking everyday’, according to reports.

Ruth has since said little on the split, but is due to return to Loose Women today, it’s been claimed, while Eamonn admitted he was ‘not OK’ and earlier thanked fans for support on GB News.

He’s now shared a photograph taken from the studios, where he’s been pictured wearing his wedding ring.

‘Called into present extra this morning and what a pleasure it turned out to be with the legend that is Anne Diamond. Great response from you on a lot of the subjects we.covered . See u in the Morning!’ Eamonn wrote over the weekend.

In the image, he had his left hand around broadcaster Anne, with a ring clearly visible.

‘He’s still wearing his wedding ring,’ @clarescott99 commented on his post, with several others sharing they’d noticed it too.

‘First thing I noticed,’ @leannemclellan78 agreed.

This comes after Ruth was seen wearing a sentimental piece of jewellery on her wedding ring finger during a QVC segment, with relationship expert Louella Alderson, co-founder of dating app So Syncd, explaining to Metro.co.uk that the possible eternity band could be a symbol of her history in her relationship as she moves into a new chapter in her life, rather than holding onto her past marriage.

She previously told us: ‘Ruth and Eamonn’s relationship span over two decades. While some may view wearing an eternity ring after divorce as unusual or confusing, it can hold deep personal significance for the individual.’

She added: ‘Removing her ring may feel like an erasure of memories and a sense of complete finality to the relationship.

‘Even though their divorce is confirmed, she may not want to let go of a relationship that has been a significant part of her life for so long.

‘It doesn’t mean that she is necessarily still holding on to hope for reconciliation, but rather it can be seen as a way of her honouring and cherishing her former marriage and bond.’

Louella added: ‘Ruth could also just be used to wearing the ring and feels physically uncomfortable without it. It has become a part of her daily routine and removing it may not be symbolic of her marriage but simply a habit.’

In recent weeks, Ruth hasn’t spoken of their split though Eamonn has opened up about his health, saying he was on ‘borrowed time’ and ‘not OK,’ in an appearance at an awards ceremony.

‘I’m not OK. This is not a good time at all,’ he admitted, amid his chronic pain.

The TV presenter has been seen using a walker and crutches for support, after he lost ‘full mobility’ when he slipped three discs in 2021.

He then underwent spinal surgery the following year, which left him off air for almost four months as he recovered, however, he suffered a major setback when he fell down the stairs, later saying he ‘smashed’ his shoulder.

Many of his followers took to Instagram to comment on his latest post with Anne about how well he looked despite the pain.

@joannedodds5891 said: ‘Looking great Eamonn, smiling through the pain.’

@thewellnesschef_sv added: ‘And you are looking very well @eamonnholmes, what have you been eating.’
