Travis Kelce brings ‘killa’ mustache back for Chiefs training camp

Back to the training grounds with a new style.

On Sunday, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce showed up to his team’s annual training camp, rocking a mustache – causing a media uproar.

“KILLA STACHE IS BACK,” the Chiefs wrote on X.

Fans warmly greeted the 34-year-old upon his arrival.

“Thanks for coming out today, guys,” he said.

Prior to this appearance, fans and pundits likely remember him in a full beard, but Kelce and that hairstyle are no more.

Kelce arrived to the camp following a stellar 2023 season, where he posted 93 receptions for 984 yards and five touchdowns.

His performance helped him eclipse a ninth consecutive Pro-Bowl selection, and aided in the Chiefs grabbing its second consecutive Super Bowl title

In the final matchup against the 49ers, the four-time All-Pro tight end capped the night with 93 yards through nine receptions, which included a crucial catch in overtime.

The day marks the first time Kelce and his teammates have to be back for preseason, where they will get reps in every day until their season kicks off in August.

Joining Kelce in his preseason endeavors is star-studded quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who brought exciting news.

Mahomes and his wife, Brittany, recently revealed the sex of their “soon-to-be new teammate.”

The couple’s three-year-old daughter, Sterling Skye, unveiled that baby No.3 will be a girl through a lighthearted tic-tac-toe game.

The news was featured on Brittany’s Instagram.

After a much-awaited NFL off-season, Kelce is back with a new look alongside Mahomes and the rest of the Chiefs.

Their squad will look to set history in a three-peat after kicking off their 2024 season against the Ravens on Sept. 5.
