A hardcore metal band in Nashville, Tennessee has gone viral for ditching their lead singer from the band for attempting to ‘force a transition’ on his bandmate.

A post on X sharing the band’s Instagram Story post has over 10 million views and over 100,000 likes.

Relatively unknown band Llorona shared the story on its Instagram page, which has since been deleted. The post claimed that a bandmember named ‘Diego’ tried to ‘force a transition’ on his friend, who is later named as ‘Sixx,’ by giving him powdered protein supplements laced with the female hormone.

Diego’s goal, according to the band, was to make himself seem masculine in comparison to a feminized Sixx and catch the attention of Sixx’s fiancée. The post called it a ‘stupid cave man mindset that makes zero sense.’ The band also said in their post that Diego admitted to ‘being obsessed with said partner.’

The band claimed: ‘This tampering has caused confusion and thousands of dollars in medical bills the past months trying to figure out what’s wrong.

‘We would not know any of this unless Diego had gotten way too intoxicated and ousted himself, and then stated an admission to all of this via text,’ the post continued.

Llorona’s original post concludes with: ‘There are many more disgusting details that have been left out for the sake of privacy and general censorship.’

The band also shared a variety of texts, allegedly from Diego, admitting to the tampering.

One of the texts read: ‘I was really drunk and told sixx and his fiance that I was obsessed with her and had a deep hatred fro sixx and gave sixx estrogen to get and [sic] edge up on him.’

Another follow-up post on the band’s Instagram stories seemed to be from Sixx’s perspective. He wrote: ‘I have had physical changes from the hormones and besides stomach ulcers, weight loss, and muscle fatigue that I will not get into, as well as notable mental changes.’

Sixx’s fiancée has shared many pictures from her relationship with Sixx on her Instagram account. In one post commemorating the couple’s six-month anniversary, she wrote, ‘I’ve never loved anything like I love you.’

The story has exploded on X, where fans have reacted with fascination and horror.

One user wrote: ‘Being so obsessed with a woman that you try to force her boyfriend to change his gender is the kind of madness that only happens in Greek legends.’

Others have taken note of how much the story seems like the plot of a soap opera. ‘That’s the sound of dozens of soap opera writers taking notes,’ one person commented.

Metro has reached out to Sixx and the fiancee for comment.
