Why we love it: Fashion brand alexanderwang has opened its first flagship store in Toronto.
Located at 110 Bloor Street West, the retail space is home to the New York City-based brand’s collections for women, as well as the recently relaunched men’s collection. The Canadian flagship is also home to the alexanderwang Kid’s Collection, which is a first for the brand.
“Fostering community and building experiences for our community is a major tenet of our brand,” says Kristin Pasternak, chief commercial officer for the brand. “We’ve really been looking forward to cultivating a stronger community with our customers and followers in Canada.”

The two-story retail location features mirror-polished stainless steel tube walls and concrete floors designed to reimagine the “mundane” and make it “extraordinary,” according to Pasternak. The store opening signals an interest and investment in the Canadian market that goes beyond just Toronto, Pasternak explains.
“Canada is an essential market for us, and we’re excited for future opportunities to grow our retail presence and expand the world of alexanderwang.”
