Barry Keoghan has criticised British Airways for its ‘bad customer service’ after losing his suitcase on the way to Los Angeles for the Oscars.
The Irish star said he had brought ‘tons of sentimental stuff’ for the show on Sunday and said the airline could not ‘seem to be helpful in one bit’.
Joker actor Barry is nominated for best supporting actor at the 95th Academy awards for his role in dark Irish comedy The Banshees of Inisherin.
Reportedly posting on social media on Wednesday night in a tweet that’s now been deleted he wrote: ‘Lost my suitcase with @british_airways and they can’t seem to be any way helpful in one bit.
‘Here In LA for Oscars and had tons of sentimental stuff I wanted to wear and bring with me.
‘Such bad customer service. Sent me to LAX to tell me they can’t help me. Tut tut.’

Hopefully the 30-year-old may now have been – or will be – reunited with his luggage in time for the prestigious event on Sunday.
Barry’s best supporting actor nod is his first Oscar nomination and sees him go head-to-head with Banshees co-star Brendan Gleeson in the category.
He previously won the Bafta award for his performance in the film, in which he plays the dim-witted but sweet Dominic Kearney, over the likes of Gleeson, Ke Huy Quan, Eddie Redmayne, Albrecht Schuch and Micheal Ward.

The star celebrated the glamorous event with his co-stars and one extra-special guest, sharing adorable photos of his young son Brando in the arms of his ‘Uncle Col’, aka Colin Farrell.
Barry, also known for roles in Marvel’s Eternals, The Green Knight and Mammal, welcomed his son last August with his girlfriend Alyson Kierans.

He also tickled This Morning viewers by striking up a banter-filled friendship with Baftas co-host Alison Hammond, crashing her interview on the show the morning after.
The Banshees’ other stars Colin and Kerry Condon are also nominated at this year’s Oscars, in the best actor and best supporting actress categories respectively.
The film picked up a total of nine nominations at the ceremony, including a coveted best picture nod.
The 95th Academy Awards will take place on March 12 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
