100 Kellogg Lane announced the second instalment of Art Comp, an art competition open to artists around the world offering one prize of $100,000 determined by a panel of art professionals.

People’s choice awards, with the winners determined by online voting, are $50,000 for first prize, $30,000 for second prize and $20,000 for third prize.

The competition will narrow the field to 100 artists whose works will go on display May 28 at 100 Kellogg Lane and remain in exhibition until Sept. 3 when results will be compiled with the winners announced at a gathering on Sept. 7.

“100 Kellogg Lane is here to inspire the community and generate conversation through global art,” said company spokesperson Angela Rivard, event manager.

“We want to challenge creators to think and explore outside of everyday life. To entertain and create a fun and thought-provoking art exhibition for the viewers. This competition is open to all ages and local, national, and global artists.”
