E Road Band member, ‘Sopranos’ actor Steven Van Zandt to be honored for $1.5M in NYPD fundraising

Steven Van Zandt, a musician and former forged member from “The Sopranos,” is being honored this week for placing the bada-bing in police fundraising.

The NYPD Retired Detectives Affiliation is recognizing Van Zandt at a Wednesday occasion in Manhattan for the work he’s carried out elevating over $1.5 million for the Detective’s Endowment Affiliation Widows’ and Youngsters’s Fund and the NYPD With Arms Large Open.

“I’m actually honored to be acknowledged by the Retired Detectives,” Van Zandt informed The Publish.

Van Zandt stated elevating the funds has been his approach of thanking the NYPD “for the troublesome and brave job they do day-after-day.”

“It’s a tricky approach to make a dwelling and we don’t thank them typically sufficient,” he stated.

Van Zandt performed Silvo Dante on the favored HBO mafia sequence.
