TTC service resumes at Union Station after ‘suspicious bundle’ investigated: police

The TTC is resuming service at Union Station after areas have been evacuated following the invention of a “suspicious bundle” left on the platform Saturday afternoon, Toronto police say.

Police say an investigation started at midday and TTC trains have been bypassing the station.

The evacuation was “out of an abundance of warning,” in keeping with police.

Shortly earlier than 2 p.m., police tweeted that the suspicious bundle was examined and “turned out to be private gadgets left behind in a bag.”

TTC service has resumed on the station.

A few month in the past, Union Station was locked down after a deadly capturing befell close to the doorway of the journey hub.
