The James J. Ferris Excessive Faculty department of the Jersey Metropolis Free Public Library was just lately reunited with a guide that was returned after a staggering 75 years, in line with the Hudson Reporter.

Bob Jablonski, who grew up in Jersey Metropolis, checked out “Hitler,” by Oden Rudolph at his highschool library in 1947, at age 14.

The now-89-year-old discovered the title when cleansing his household house and returned it in mint situation, full with its authentic reference card tucked inside.

Though exceptionally late, Jablonski’s timing was impeccable. The library applied a no-overdue price coverage in March 2021, so he didn’t need to pay any fines for the recovered guide.
